Flying lessons

Hi Guy's,

Just thought I'd share a little of my new and upcoming hobby!!

With a little help from two of my landlords, all three of us are going to have ultra lite flying lessons and then buy an ultra lite for our sleves to play with :D :D

Sunday next week, we are going up in the Blue plane in the pics below,
with the aim of getting one of the white one's later on.

The Boys are taking me with them on Sunday.They are going to take me flying in the Blue plane. They are really small inside, so to get in you have to go bum first then try to get your leg in and move the joy stick at the same time then get your other leg in. It sounds like fun. I can not wait.

Hi All,
The lessons are coming along nicely. pics below are at the new flying club, and in another plane. here, we take off over the beach!
I'm only an hour or two from my first solo flight. Getting off the ground is the easy part. landing is a whole other thing!!!
The pic of the blue plane is one we're considering buying.

Nope, No training gear for me lol so if I get it wrong, it'll be spectacular!!!

I go with them all the time. I enjoy going. We have a great day out, i love watching them fly. The people down there are really nice to talk to. I still don't go up in the plane, my feet stay on the ground.:)

Hi Guys,
Just a Quick update!! you may now refer to me as the "solo man" as I have just completed my first three solo flights!!!!!!!! and I only bounced of the runway once!
Any landing you make with the wheels on the bottom and the wings on the top, is a good one.......

Another update for you!

I passed my flying test on Saturday :) I am now a qualified pilot!!!!

While I was in the middle of my flying test, I was told to hand the controls over to the Chief instructor?? Wondering what I had done wrong, I just sat back and watched as he headed out to sea!!!! (I hate emergency engine failure tests) Then he just started flying around in circles. As the right wing was almost vertical and the left was pointing at the water, he then says look down.....and me being on the left side of the plane (scary) there they were...
large humpback whales rolling and playing right below us.
All the instructor wanted to do was go whale watching. Unfortunately I was not allowed to have my camera with me during the test, so no photo's this time.

Another update for you!

Thank you. Michelle will be apart from you for three weeks ? That is a long time.:):) So you will need to cook, then ?lollol Is she goin g to see her family ? How is she doing without you around ? Oh I believe she miss you a lot.

Hi Chinda,
Michelle went to see her family about 10-12 hours south of where we are.
She says she is having a ball down there but misses BJ and I, and is ready to come home at the end of this week.
Bj and I manage to feed and cloth our selves, do the washing, and all other domestic duties to the best of our abilities, and will be glad when Michelle comes home.

In reference to a question asked by "SloICEMAN" in my 41in Cat thread, the runway We're building, It will be dirt, covered with fine rocks that pack together very tightly, and then seeded to grow a durable grass to stop it throwing up the rocks (it makes for very smooth landings.)
