Third Starter Shaft Bearing, this mod supports the starter shaft as this two part system, one shaft inside the other, only has a bearing at each end. This low cost added support bering fits onto the larger shaft and supports the inner shaft as it comes out of the outer.
I think the pics will show better than my words !!
It will recduce transmission noise and resonance (that I have on my V2) and extends the life of the existing bearings !
