I can understand the reason for 800 pix wide. It's so you don't have to scroll RtoL to read the text even pages below.
I can't figure out why the 600 pix tall though? If we show a part of a heli it might be narrow and tall. Ie around the main shaft area etc.
I know about file sizes also but I think 800x800 and not over 150K would do the same IE 600x800.
I do know in this version letting any thing over 800W is a pain for all involved. At gobrushless.com it was all pretty much self moderating by people saying "dude you are blowing out the margins, please resize your photo to about 750 pixels wide".
