The squirrel finally had it's first successful flight today. The tail problem appears to have been caused by the rudder servo. I'll have some video of the flight soon.

Glad you enjoyed the vid. Have to say I wasn't as nervous as I usually am with the first flight, but I was still working hard. All the flying was done with the gyro in normal and the nose-in shot was with a cross wind and about 3m from us, so was quite a challenge. The model's also a little nose heavy which made it a bit pitchy.

Now that I've got the flight out of the way, I'm going to strip it down and repaint the fus. Although the current paint job is superb, it's not scale and the police fly the AS355 not the 350.

The sound track isn't original. I added "sweet emotion" by Aerosmith, but was concerned about the copyright, so had to use one from Youtube. There are some pics in my flight log.
