Yesterday I dumped my Blade CP in the parking lot next door. Before it ground up the balsa blade tips the heli was bucking and heaving all over the place as I tried to hold it.

I fly my Blade CP Pro with brushless power pretty easily, but yesterday with the BCP felt like the early RC heli days when I couldn't fly at all.

So: check the spindle shaft! A bent spindle shaft makes the Blade unstable. I heard the blades buzz a little, though when hovered at eye level they appeared to be tracking. But the spindle shaft failed the hex key test:

To check for a bent spindle shaft remove the main blades. Then insert a 1.5 mm hex key into either of the blade grip retaining screws and turn the hex key, which will turn the spindle shaft. If one or both blade grips waves up and down the shaft is bent.
