Hi Guy's
I'm new to your forum, So G'day from Australia!!
I'm also new to helies and have not flown yet , so I hope I don't turn my new toy into 1000 little helies on my first landing!

Tell us more about it. What you got inside :)

Thanks spectre,
Inside is a Raptor 50v2 as yet unused! because at my LHS they sold me the wrong Gyro, knowing I had no idea at the time what I was buying!
It's cheap non head hold imported rubish that doesn't even have a name!! so naturaly it won't be used..Here in the land of oz it was $150 (down the drain) so at the moment I am looking for another one that will do the job, perhaps a 401 or JR G410T and I have no idea which tail servo ?
I have just ordered a JR 9x II v2 Tx and a fiberglass repair kit just incase
Cheers, Glen

Hi Glen,
Welcome to HeliTown. I have to agree with spectre that it is a very nice scale heli. It is sad to hear about your LHS was trying to sell you the thing that is not working. Normally LHS does not do that as they need to build good relationship with their locals. I don't use JR G410T but I hear that both are good. The Broker, one of the moderators, flies a Raptor 50, so she can help you with some of your questions. Let's get that heli in the air. I can't wait to hear your flight report.

Hi Eddie,
Glad to be here, and unfortunatly my LHS is only a side line to a full size boat shop, their priorities lie elsewhere!! so I will have to rely on forums and online shopping. But I hope to have it all sorted soon Regards, Glen.

Hi Ranger,
That is one sweet looking heli you have there 8)
I use a GY401 gyro and matching 9254 tail servo in my Raptor, easy to set-up, holds well and good value for money.

Will PM you

Hi Jerry,
Thanks, It took me a long time to come up with the colors, It's taken from three different full size helies, and your welcome to use them if you like!
I also have plenty of photographs that I could send you , of this one or some nice looking full size ones too !!

As your new to all this have a look at the Team Futaba quick setup guide. It is the easy way to get up and running with this good gyro.

Let us know if we can help you setting up.

Hi G-MRM,
I have just had a look at this very informative article on the 401 and how to set it up, and it sertainly takes the guess work out of it.
OK I'm convinced, 401 it is! and the 9254. and if I get stuck I will sertainly ask for further assistance from you all thanks to all best Regards, Glen
