Walkera 22 TX RX setup help

Hi Folks, Just bought a walkera 22E which from reading some of your posts might be a mistake. However my first problem is the manual which is useless.
Can anybody out there explain where the settings should be as a starting point (for a beginner).

Where should I set PIT and PLT? Actually I don't even understand what these two terms stand for let alone what they do!
There is no explanation for the dip switches on the Tx only where to set them by default.

Also the reciever has:-
gyro sensitivity. Do I want max sensitivity or min?
Servo travel. Again do I need to set it?

I'm not even trying to fly the beast yet but am spending lots of time on a simulator (FMS) and this is hard enough!

I hope someone can find the time to answer this one and I hope it hasn't been posted hundreds of times before.

this manual (http://www.venom-aircorps.com/pdfs/instructions/VNR3D_Manual.pdf) will make more sense. It's simply a rebadged 22e that has had the manual re-written.
