I've been a happy owner of the Honeybee FP for half a year or so and have gotten most of the basics down with it, but recently I made the mistake of leaving it out on the counter where it could awe anyone who passed by. BIG MISTAKE. My OLDER brother turned it on and played around with it but never took off. I told him to stop and he did... but he did not follow the proper steps of shutting it down by removing the battery and such. A couple minutes later it took off on its own (Tx was off, battery pack was still connected) and managed to fall off the counter while taking a few glasses with it. There it sat rotating its blades for the last time, almost seizure-like. So now my problem is there is no connection between the controller and the helicopter itself. The helicopter powers on (the proper lights on the receiver show up) but there is no response from any movement of the Tx sticks that I make. I will try and get a vid up to further show my problem, but until then I am wondering whether its fixable (I dont want to spend a ton on parts when a new one will only cost me $90) or if something possibly disconnected that would cause this type of reaction. Any help is good help! Thanks.

This kinda runs in circles but if the lights are working then the RX is working as the mixer is getting a signal, the gyro gets a sig and boots. So the elevator and ail servos should work at least. Do they?

nope... no servos respond to any movement of the sticks.

Do the servos make any kind of sound? They might be stripped.

i've heard that that situation that the esc might have burnt a treace on the board. so more or less it is burnt out. that is why i have heard that people put fuses inline to stop it for doing that. hope this helps and hope it not your situation. well good luck and happy flying

I've tried just about everything and I'm starting to conclude that that is exactly my problem... :( But I suppose they are cheap enough that a little christmas money can bring me a new one! Thanks for the help everyone.
