I crashed my HB CP2 and burnt up the motor and the 4in1 she smoked good. Would not run the rotor motor, Replaced both with new ones. Then took old 4in1 and opened it up, I noticed the 7413 had a hole blown in it and some black around the diode. I then ordered IRF7413Z and diode 1A 40V (8 figured I will need all of them) and soldered them in to the old 4in1. The 4in1 now runs the rotor but at full throttle and has no speed control to it. checked it with a motor and a volt meter 12.5 volts and will not change. Any chance I over heated the 7413 when I soldered it in? Looked for solder bridge and couldn't see one. Any tech support. Any way of checking MOSFET in circuit and is there any alternitive for the 4in1? I'am new to helicopters! Would be nice if they made these so they can be serviced!

This beyond my level. I have not done any surgery to my 4 in 1 before. Steve will be back soon. I hope someone else can help.

Found out that both msfet needed to be replaced not just the one. Replaced other and works fine.
