October 2006 Picture of the Month

Congratulation to swatson144! HeliTown.COM's October 2006 Picture of the Month was nominated by the Broker. "It started out as a humming bird V2 FP and now it has so many parts mixed between century and GWS I don't rightly know what to call it. I think it actually has a GWS frame now, HB swash, MS & gear?, It has my signature head mod for more cyclic throw," said swatson144.

swatson144 is a well-known user name for his electric RC helicopter experience and expertise. Among many other electric helicopters, swatson144 flies his Corona, X400 and micro helicopters regularly. swatson144 has been working on his Franken Corona here (http://www.helitown.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=154). Please take your time to visit his thread.

In addition to flying these helicopters, building his Corona and other helicopters, he is also one of the HeliTown FORUM Tech Support team members. He has been very active at HeliTown forum. HeliTown is very happy to have his picture for 10/2006 picture of the month. I personally want to thank swatson144 for volunteering to be the technical support and hope that swatson144 will continue to support HeliTown.

I would like to nominate swatson144's moth for pic of the month.
Steve is the only person on this forum breeding heli's :lol:
His Moth is a cross between a GWS Dragonfly and a Hummingbird, how he got those 2 to mate I'm not sure.
Seriously he is a font of knowledge and an avid flyer who doesn't seem to mind if its blowing a gale, he flys for fun and thats what its all about, fun and flying. Oh and the odd crash eh Steve :)

Thank you both the broker and G-MRM. Since you both nominated two diffrent helis and I like both of them, let's take swatson144's for October as the broker normated it first and leave Long-Ranger's for November. So we can take care of two months! Congradulation to swatson144 and Long-Ranger.
