November 2006 picture of the month was by nominated by G-MRM. Congradulation to Ranger who won Vortex 37 helicopter and whose picture was nominated for November 2006. Here is what Ranger said about his helicopter, "the heli is a longranger (Century) mechanics are raptor 50 v2 with 401 gyro, and at this stage all standard JR servo's. It will be controlled by a JR 9x v2. It is about to be stripped naked so I can learn to fly without trashing the fuselage! It was painted by myself after many hours on the internet to find three helies to make one final color scheme from a combination of all three. tail boom supports were used to make longer scale looking skids So of course I had to go and buy some more to take it back to standard for learning. When it gets stripped back, it will be fitted with a set of Quick UK larger skids incase of hard landings!! (I'm sure Broker can relate to that) anyway that's about it, Regards, Glen"
