I flew my corona today, used my 1700mA 8cell Ni-Cd battery pack for the first flight. I flew it until it wouldn't hover. I brought it inside. Let it cool, it was warm but not hot. I put it on my triton charger in ni-cd mode, 8 cell 1.7A charge rate (1C). After about an hour it finished and stated it charged 2050mA. Is this ok? Is it good, bad?
Oh, by the way I'm starting to love my 4300mA pack, it flies almost 20 minutes now.

That sounds about right, batteries are not 100% efficient a bit like people
The best way would be to fully charge the battery, then use the discharge setting on the charger to discharge the battery.
When finished it will show the power given out.
Charge the battery again and at the end it will show power put back in.
The difference will be battery efficiency.
Thus if you took 1640mah and put back 2050mah = 80%.
Remember, efficiency will go down when you pull higher current over a smaller time.
My husband keeps track of flying time, that way he can tell if his battery is
starting to fail....
Hope this helps :D
