Well, I guess it's offical now. On the 13th good ole President bush signed into law the Economic Stimulus Package, a kind of tax rebate program aimed at providing a boost to a crappy economy.

Here's a link - http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=177937,00.html

It's kind of funny that this is aimed at providing a boost to the US's economy although I'm willing to wager that China's economy will get more of a boost than ours.

To those forum users who are from the US and will be getting this, please spend the extra money on stuff made in the US, as opposed to spending it on imported goods. If this $$ is to help us at all we need to keep it local, instead of just sending it all overseas.

Whoo hoo!
Going to disneyland!
Actually, it is going towards our wood boiler, since the corn stove burnt to the ground!
I told the insurance agent that we were going to put our next heat source outside, so we could watch it burn down from the living room, instead of the driveway!lol

You mean the "Add another heli to the fleet" stimulus package?

So what IS an American made heli, Century?

Ok, maybe not the whole thing, but at least a down payment.

It was interesting to see the Utah Highway Patrol using them for accident investigation. What the hell are those tanks on the side of the turbine machines?

So why so different, and two of them? And it looks like there is another tank in the center of the machine. Is there a good theory doc for turbine helicopters?

take a look at the manual to see what they are - http://www.bergenrc.com/manuals/Turbine.pdf

i *think* most turbines now run on kerosine, and i think that some use propane to help start the engines up. That could be what the 2 tanks are.

Looks like they are indeed for the kerosine. There is a separate tank for the starting gas. Man these things look mean. Wow.... Just Wow.....
