Hi All :D
I am very very proud to show you the newest heli in my fleet, the Agusta A109 Power.
This heli is joint shared with my husband at the moment but you never know one day it may be all mine.
Sorry about the rubbish pics but I cannot show it with its retracts down yet.

I have to talk to my wife into getting me one of these for Christmas. Joint custody! How? 50% 50%? :) Look at that the wind shield wiper. It is soooo cute.

Hi All :D
Medtech you are so right I would be terrified to fly it but it is so beautiful I had to have it.
Eddie yes we own it 50/50 my husband pays for it and I say what we do with it
and I am not sure if the wipers are cute but I wonder if I could actually get them to work, I have a set of nav lights I want put on it as well.
Eddie I am sure your wife would be only to happy to get you one for xmas, how could she deny you anything :D

Sounds fair. I could agree to those terms.
NICE!
Eddie, If you weren't chicken you'd just buy one for Mrs. M for christmas. Probably would be one of your most interesting and memorable holiday seasons ever. If you go that route get vids. it sucks when you have a spouse induced epithany and can only remember it and not relive it for more than the 16-36 months it stays fresh in your mind.

I would say it sounds fair...... like Steve said  Martin has been little worried since I told him that you could delete his threads and dicussions if he does not behave. :) He is a nice guy.
..... I wonder if I could actually get them to work,
Can you program it with a servo and a spared channel on your TX to move it during flight?
Eddie I am sure your wife would be only to happy to get you one for xmas, how could she deny you anything :D
I'll ask her to see this thread. I think she would, but then I have to save even more money because she might ask for a big diamond ring for her next birthday. Last time when I got my new laptop, she made me buy her an expensive diamond bracelet :(

I am with Steve on this :) I remember reading a thread once about someone who bought himself a Trex SE and his wife went out and bought herself a horse :)
It is fun. I hope it is OK with medtech.

Hi Glen :D
Yes I or rather I should say we had to have it.
It is going to be stripped out and everything checked because we bought it second hand and although the previous owner has much more experience than my husband and I, still we want to go over it, I look at it as a learning experience.
I want the bodywork tidied up and generally to make it ours if you know what I mean.
As for flying I don't consider myself good enough yet to fly it and I would be devastated if I crashed it just because I was impatient.
My landings need to be much improved as I am still to heavy on putting down.
I had a good weekend flying the Rappy but I still have a long way to go before the Agusta.
Its great you are getting another heli :D , what do you think it wil be.
My husband would like a Daydream Jetranger which I am sure will be gracing our home soon, mind you our home is more like a heli hanger.
:)
Keep me posted on your soon to be new heli.

Hi All :D
Martin and I did a bit of work to the Agusta today and tested the retracts, they worked fine although there was a slight bit of sticking on one wheel. We will be taking this baby to pieces soon to go over everything and tidy her up bodywise so I will start a new thread when we do.

Hi Sue
Saw the model on Sat and I'm impressed how you managed to clean it up better than I could. I can't figure the sticky wheel though as I don't recall that before.
I made this offer to Martin, but if you would like any help with the setup, let me know.

Hi Ant,
The sticky wheel is no problem and maybe I described it wrongly as sticky, it just takes that extra second to go down as if it was rubbing on something as it goes down.
We were well pleased with it and it was exciting to see the wheels go down, Martin wants to get a good look at the mechanics and I want to make the body as nice as I can, I will be photographing the stickers so that they can be removed and have new ones made.
We will be doing a thread on it here when we start, thanks for the offer of help and we will be needing you thats for sure.
You were probably a bit surprised as to where this heli is kept but I couldnt allow it to go in the workshop. I love this heli and although I am no way able to fly it I get great pleasure in looking at it, I am so glad we bought it from you. :D

If you are very bored and want to watch some wheels go up and down this is the post for you.
Agusta's retracts coming down, it was a bit windy that day and the heli was heavy, and awkward as I was operating the retracts as well.

I put the credits on for extra excitement

Hi Sue,

Glen if I had said what I was thinking while trying to hold the heli and operate the switch at the same time it would have been censored
I know Eddie wouldnt like that kind of language on the forum, but I will try to do a better vid to replace that one later xx

You will notice the one to the front of the camera sticks a little, I will look at that soon. It is not easy to work on but will be better once I remove the chassis.
There is a little work to do before she flies, now we can link a video you can all see the first flight, however just the retract video was 2mb !!

I was talking to another pilot at our club agm last night and he's got a servo slow module for his 222. You can adust the retract speed to make it more scale. I'm thinking of getting one for my A109.
He got it from Leamington Hobby Centre. http://www.anbro.com/bb-lhc-electronics-undercarriage.htm
