Look at attached picture, I only need those plastic ball joints, do I really need to buy whole set (ek1-0290) or is there any other part with same joints I can use instead?

Get the whole set. You will break/ wear the other parts out in time.
Off the top of my head, I can't think of an alternate that is quickly and easily available. It is always good to have extra links!

I am just asking, because I got that extreme push rods which can be adjusted without disconecting the ball joint. Very practical. Unfortunately they come as metal (titanium) rod only, without plastic joints and somehow I don't want to disassmble my current push rod (in case that extreme rod is not as practical as it looks :) )

Just use the existing ones. If the plastic hole is worn out, you may use CA to fill the over size thread hole, let the CA dry before threading the metal rod in.

Actually I got the Extreme Turnbuckle Rod and it was easy to track the blades. I don't know how long the blades stay tracked with them, because I severely crashed after a couple of flights with them...but they didn't break during the crash, even though most of the rotor head pieces broke. I will definitely try them again once I finish the repairs and mods, hopefully by the end of the week.

P.S. The crash was not caused by the turnbuckles, but my stupidity.

So you are saing there is no need to worry, it will work just fine.

One more thing - I read somewhere, that these plastic ball joints are somehow too tight to screw on extreme turnbucles and may break while doint it.

Have anybody experienced this?
