I want one for Christmas.

Or, use this as an excuse, tell your significant other you're not flying models, you're training to be a UAV pilot!

Yeah, I wish I wasn't over the sign up age because I'd love to fly one of those babies!!

I would hate to crash one of those thingslol. It's one thing spending $10-$100 dollars on parts, but $1M...whew. I would have to work for free for the rest of my life:(.

Be hard to pack one of those in the back of the truck. I imagine the software is designed to prevent operator induced crashes for the most part.

I would hope so for as much as the cost of each of the planes are. It would still be awesome to fly one of them anyways. Especially getting paid to do what we do as a hobby. I can just see it in Elementary School during a "What does your parents do for a living. "My dad flies RC Airplanes for the Army." :).

Here's (http://www.airforce-technology.com/projects/predator/) a little more info on this subject.

Predator is a long-endurance, medium-altitude unmanned aircraft system for surveillance and reconnaissance

It looks like it's in space...so should it be high-altitude?

if any of us flew that we'd be too tempted to go 3D, lol...
