I am looking for a cheap second LiPo pack for my B400... I can't even hover yet so spine tingling power levels are not needed lol

Looking at a 16C 2200 which has the EC3 plug fitted so is designed for the B400. What concerns me is that the 16C 2200 comes out to 35.2A by my math, and the standard 20C 1800mah comes out at 36A.

will I be overly stressing anything or will sudden throttle increases stress the pack a bit and heat it up or anything???

(oh yeah...price is a consideration and it is $25au cheaper than a flightpower etc adn I don't need to solder new connectors on so it is a big plus)

I actually prefer my 16C packs to the 20-30C packs since they are lighter. My mini likes to be lighter.

I can hit 30A pretty easy but the duration is short or the X400 goes out of sight.

I'd say if it is a solid 16C it'll work fine, if it's over rated (not been a problem for a couple years) it'll not last very long.

Have a look at Amainhobbies and hobbycity. There are many other battery options out there instead of paying a ton for batteries that won't last forever anyway. Flight for the buck these are hard deals to beat:

I can vouch for the Loong Max. Rick has 2 (maybe 4) pair that are making him happy. He had 1 pack with a bad solder joint on one tab, which was an easy fix (that was when HC 1st got them). Pretty nice actually circuit boards and copper tabs so later as cells start to die, as in all packs it'll be easy to keep them going. ;)

I'd buy 4 pair if I needed lipos.

For the same weight pack, I prefer higher capacity than the high C. Vendors are more likely overate the discharged C rating.
