If you have a bladecx2 helicopter, I would beware of purchasing any products from http://rcrivesud.com I purchased some items from them, and one of the items was landing gear. It was not in the box. Here is the serious of e-mails that followed:

#1 from me to them:

Hi,

I received my package today, and I had the Extreme Core SL52 (blades, clamps, and such), but my landing gear was not in the box?

Can you please confirm if this was supposed to be in the same shipment or if it is coming separately? I believe it is this part:

Item Name:

Miscellaneous Upgrade Parts

Item Number:

Item # SL65

#5 My response back to him:

I don’t really need anything right now….Right now I’m trying to install the new grips, and nothing seems to be going my way.

It seems like all of the included screws don’t seem to fit many of the wholes properly. Like the longer screws that hold the rotors down seem to be getting stuck half way through. So I am not able to tighten them all the way down very good. It seems like the rotors are going to move within the grips as soon as I start flying. We’ll have to see.

I know what you mean about the skids cause you don’t want to pay shipping. I understand that, but I would still like them sent to me. I’m sorry about that…

#6. Five months later in december. I never received my landing gear. I sent a quick e-mail asking for an update. Here was his response:

hi

we here to help

but your buying files is close for new shipping

best thing on your next order drop us a note and we will add that landing skid free

have a great day

Wow…..Wow….Wow….Can you believe this? He ignores me for 3 months, then tells me my order is closed. Basically what he meant is that the paypal order is closed so I can’t try to request a refund. I’m stuck without my parts. Can you believe he would expect me to purchase more products from them? All this so he doesn’t pay $5.00 in shipping!

Unbelievable. Stay away from http://rcrivesud.com!

Hello noimad1 (http://www.rchelicoptertown.com/forum/member.php?u=2438) and welcome to HeliTown.

From what you are saying that is definitely a place to avoid, no matter what heli you own! Pretty much trying to extort another order from you to fix their mistake.

Thanks for the welcome. Yea, I just can't believe that they wouldn't ship something they took the money for. I should have put the ticket in with paypal before it was too late. Guess that was my fault...
