Is it possible to convert a Walkera #59 (http://www.walkera.com/en/pro_particular.jsp?la=en&pro_number=Z359%23B0104) from a shaft drive to a belt drive like the #60 (http://www.walkera.com/en/pro_particular.jsp?la=en&pro_number=Z360%23B0104)?

I don't know how hard or easy it would be as I can't seem to find a detailed enough pic to make a guess.

Since they look nearly identical perhaps the best place to start would be to dl the #60 manual and compare part #s. I wouldn't be surprised to find that just a handfull of parts are different between the 2 and tally up the cost and see if it's worth it to you.

Other than that with the proper components bought from sdp-si.com you can belt drive about anything :) . I converted an H2 to tail belt drive, as landing in the grass was always good for a couple hours work on the shaft driven tail.

The interesting thing is that when I dl the #59 and #60 manuals, they are exactly identiical. Perhaps, I should just go for the belt-drive #60 instead, considering that the price is quite attractive.
