Anybody has any experience with these servos? They have been recommended to me as replacement for ESky stock servos. My only worry is that they are very cheap ~4 USD each.

Works great! I use them on most of my helis.

Are they reliable?

I just got 4 of them and one is malfunctioning right out of the box.

And they don't fit properly on HBK2, I need to figure out how to fit them.

The HXT 9g from HC is pretty good, I use them in the GL450 cyclic, only have a few flights, so far they work well for mild 3D doing flips and rolls.

So it looks like I was just unlucky with that particular one.

I fugured out how to attach it to HBK2, but I need longer screw, but I can't get it. Smallest diameter DIY have is 3.5mm, but I need 2mm :(

LHS or most any vendor probably has a hardware packet for align trex450 (http://www.allerc.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_65_102&products_id=1683). There's a wealth of handy fasteners for mini / micro in there. Just a baggy full of screws etc.

Quick tip: When ordering parts, also buy a bag of screws. The bigger the bag, the better. When working on small helis, 450 size helis and below all use about the same size screws in diameter.
If you need a bunch of one size, go to www.mcmaster.com
I Have about 15 of those servo's, with zero problems. Just got unlucky, sorry!

I have a set installed in the K2, the HXT 9g servo is a little too tall and you have to set the servo back either trim off the servo mount or add an O ring or spacer.

Oh, do a search in the K2 thread, may be I have some pics there. BTW, I have about couple dozen of HXT 9g servos, they all work, some are nosier than other. The gear do strip if you crash, I think I have replaced about 4-5 of them in my yellow K2.
