Hello all,

I'm Chris...just figured I'd introduce myself as I'm going to be browsin' the stickies and asking a few questions to get my recent purchase of a T-Rex 600 up and running. I have a 450 and decided to step up to a larger heli.
So far I have the following goods:
Futaba 12FGH 2.4fasst
Hitec Hs-635HB's
Futaba GY401 w/S9254 DS
Bantam BC8DX Dual charger...sweet!
Integy Super Power Station 36A PS (for BC8DX)
T-Rex 600ESP combo with the 100A ESC/650L......

I haven't thought of a battery combo yet...still researchin' that aspect. Dunno if I'm slappin' two packs together or just larger mAh 6S packs. I post finished pics of the build later this week:D Hope ya'lls Holidays were great!

swatson144 is THE man for all things power!

<bow>

And from personal experience, you'll be amazed how much more stable and easier to fly the bigger birds are from the zippy little 450's.

Welcome Chris!

Steve is the resident know-it-all (just look at his post count!!)
I am trying to be the resident smarta$$ but I fail miserably.

Good group of folks here.

Well, got the beast together and decided to go with FlightPower Evo25's 6S 25C/5000mah packs....first battery arrives wednesday. Here's a few pics for your liking. Pretty generic I know:roll: But still excited....the build quality of this kit impresses me more than the 450....great build sheet and information!!! Oh...and the 3S are for the 450....the dang balancer adapters for the Bantam unit doesn't fit the Electrifly packs (have to order them)...so I had to resort to the Equinox balancers from my accu-cycle station:)

Hello Chris and welcome!!
Never really realized how much a good heli will dress up a kitchen!! I after seeing your pics I will be making some suggestions to my wife about our up coming bathroom renovation. I'm thinking a nice Trex 600 as a shower rod would make the room pop!!:D

Yep I agree with these Heli Experts, Steve(O) is the man with the plan. However, all of these guys are awesome for great info and enjoy sharing their knowledge!! Seems each one has there own expertise unique to all other heli forums!! HeliTown, you came to the right place!!

PS. Be careful of Don because he is a witch doctor and has been known to conjure up some nasty weather on the only day you have time to fly!!:D
