This tx is getting alot of discussion over at www.rcgroups.com. I don't think anyone over here is really using one. I have 3 little 3B's, but have yet to pull the trigger on that tx. It is a little expensive for my needs at this time.
Try the helicopter sections over there, and welcome!

The Walkera WK-2801 looks very nice, it is a little pricey. How many model memory the Tx has and where you can the warrantee service.

8 model memory, and your guess is as good as mine on warranty service.

For a $350 radio, I expect it is a full house setup. 8 model memory is not enough, any expansion port to increase the size of memory. The entry level Spektrum DX6 has 10, DX7 has 20.

For 350 bones it had better come with a helicopter. I have one, and have become quite familiar with all the functions. It seems to be a great radio for the money, and I suspect it is one of the same with the Spektrums. I bet the electronics are from the same assembly plant in China. The switches are the same and the display is the same. Mine came with my Creata 400 which has been shelved. I have an EXI on the way and I am going to set it up with my 2801, and the wk gyro. Sweet. I read somewhere that the Spektrums have a higher power output or something, but then, how far away do you want to fly a 450 chopper? What's your question?
