Has anyone treid this setup yet?
They have just been released in the UK, my LHS has both the 6 and 7 in stock. I think I would be more inclined towards the 7 based on information I have seen elsewhere, but it would be good to get some genuine feedback.

There are some guys discussing this on the rcheliaddicts site. They are pretty impressed with them.

Thanks Ant, I've seen a lot of stuff about response times and polling rates or something or another. What I really want to know is 'do they work?'. Are people finding software or hardware issues, making it worth waiting for the V2 model?
I have caught up with the fact that the DX6 is, in effect the V1 model and that some of the issues have been resolved with the 7, but I have yet to see and objective test.
I like the idea of both 2.4GHz and with a system that automatically chooses a free channel (or two) and I know the system has worked well in cars, which are a pretty hostile environment, due to the vibration, interference and impacts that are inherent in that form of modelling.
I'll go have a look and see what they say.

EDIT: Well, nothing negative there at all. Only time will tell.

Lets say that their best thing about the 2.4 ghz systems is the glitch free rf , unfortunately the DX6 had issues with delays ect with CCPM mixing. Some folks ( such as our own Thanh Tran) found a way to use the DX RF Module in tried and true other TX's such as the Optic 6 and Eclipse 7 also others have converted a number or JR Tx's . The result was a TX with better CCPM response and 5 point mixing (as opposed to 3 with DX6) and using the glitch free RF that everone would appreciate! The DX7 I believe has addressed the programming shortcomings found in the DX6.
