Hi All,
I thought I would be pro-active and am advertising our forum on my Rappy :D

Hi Sue, can you share how you did it? Did you paint it? Today I went to the Great Mall in Milpitas and had a guy get a cap embroiled for me. First time, he screwed up after I waited for almost an hour and the second time he missed the dot. He told me the dot is too small and the computer cannot read it. I did not want to wait any more so I took it for $28

That is a great gap and I am going to work on getting one done as well.
My stickers are made for me by a guy called Mark Hildred, he also does T-shirts as well so I might just email him to do me a shirt with our logo on it, I have given him a mention on my website.
If you pm me your home address I will send you a Forum and HeliTown set of decals so you can see them up close and put them on your heli as I ordered more than I needed and it would be my pleasure to send them to you.
They are good quality and fuel resistant

Sue, they look pretty good. I'll PM you my address. If they are good, I'll order them so we can give to our members who want them on their helis. Maybe we can have differnt sizes for big, mini and me for micro helis. I cann't wait to see the T-shirt. If they are good, I also want to order some T-shirts. Glen, let's see it :) I just hand fixed my HeliTown cap. I used my mom's sewing thread and added a dot to it. No more missing dot and now I can put it on while I am driving my new car with HeliTown license plate and looks cool like a HeliTown guy! :):):) A lot of fun.

I have sent a sample of my lettering to eddie our only problem is getting the sizes right.
Mine are for my 50 size so we need some smaller ones for our other heli's or for members who only fly micro/small heli's.

Hi Sue, I asked Mark to make clear labels that can stick on the canopy or decal instead of decal for each helicopter because our members have different helicopters and canopies have different size and shape. We will split half for UK folks and half for US and ther rest of the world. Those who live in UK can send pm to you and those who live other part of the world can pm to me. I'll pay for the cost and the postage. (Don't let cmaxim sees this thread) I told Mark that I would want the same lettering design like the one you have. So if he has questions, you let him know what you like and that is what I like as well.

Ranger is right Eddie are we going to have a HeliTown official heli, if so we ought to vote on the nominations.
We wouldnt want to promote a specific heli ie Raptor (unless they are paying :lol: :lol: ) but it would be nice to vote on the design if we get enough nominations so that it would truely be a HeliTown heli as voted for by the members.

Glen - no it was the only heli graphic available in the guy's computer at the time. I think it is cool for our members create and select our own efficial logo helicopter for the sticker. I like the idea! :)

I just thought I'd let you know that my decals were ordered to day and I pick them up tomorrow (fri) :D I had mine done in metallic silver to match my longranger color scheme. For the first test run, I have only ordered the web address to see how it looks. I will post pics tomorrow!

I am getting bored and just wanted to see how Sue's rappy HeliTown sticker looks on my CRV. It is kind of small but until I get the bigger ones these will stay on my CRV for a while.

The sticker on your CRV is small but looks elegant, you should take Chinda's advice on these matters, she will be able to tell you what looks good as she has an eye for what is tasteful and elegant, you men just want the biggest thing which is not nescessarily the best :lol: :lol: :lol:
