I just recieved a new Raptor G2 and am having problems with trying to hover and also my transmitter settings. Is there any one here that can help me with my problems?

First, when reading the very short manusl, there are two different setting shown for the transmitter. One shows all DIP switches in the on position, then it shows a chart saying all DIP switches are off except #5. Does anyone know the correct settings??????????? or setting that work for them?

Second, RTF out of the box is not correct. I have tried to get the Heli off the ground to hover and learn, but it seems I can't. I am using traing gear so not to crash. No matter what I do, I can not get the thing off the ground. Any suggestions for this ROOKIE??????

Thanks for any help you can give this Newbi.

I had to look the thing up. Looks like a zoom/zap/shogun/ with belt drive.

Disconnect the motor.

Power it up. give it a good check that all the axis aileron, elevator, pitch, etc work the right direction. If not reverse the switch for that channel. I don't know the radio so that's about as helpfull as I can be other than most TXs from such makers seem to follow the Futab channel asignments so a good guess would be
1=ails
2=ele
3=throt
4=rud
5=gyro sense (if used)
6=pitch

if I am not mistaken, this Raptor G2 is simply a relabelled Walkera, probably the DF#36 or something like that.

Thanks for your help. Now if I can get this thing off the ground I would be happy. Guess it's just a rookie thing.
