I plugged in the E-logger to get some data for my emoli mini review. It just wasn't gonna happen today.

Winds 14-18 MPH 47F. Belt driven Corona with Astro 020, 3S emoli.

1st Chart
1st couple mins I was having some strange vibrations and cut it short to investigate. I got some throttle popping in and then some FF, a few piros before the pause. Checked it over and went back up something was definately not right. Some wimpy flying and then landed and went inside to check it out about 3.7 mins in the flight.

2nd Chart (cont of the 1st with no recharge)
Having desided I'd found the problem I got back in the air. It still wasn't smooth. About 4 mins of FF and wimpin around I started to pop it around a little. The tail belt was skipping a bit so on with the FF, and circuits. a few stall turns and when my TX started to signal for 8 mins (this would be about 11mins total on the pack) It was time to see how much pop was left in the pack. Plenty Pop in the pack and one in the tail belt. Mystery Vibe solved as a failing tail belt. It let go on the way up at about 30' and from that 32A mark is what it looks like when a Corona piros in for a landing. Not real soft but on the skids and no damage.

I got 26 hrs out of that belt. The one before was 16 Hrs I was wondering when it was gonna go. At least this time it didn't wrap around the main and fall with stopped rotors.

I also got a full flight in with my very worn out commonsence RC 2000mAh budget packs. If any one is interested I'll post that and some charts with good Lipo packs and next time I get up with my friend I'll borrow a flight with one of his not so worn budget packs. I got a couple 8 cell stick packs if you want.

Plot of a badly worn out common sense 2000 mAh 8c pack. Well over 100 cycles on this pack.

Belt drive corona with 020
battery was commonsense rc 2000 mAh, over 100 cycles.
winds 14-18 mph
47F

some throttle pumping at begining and end. Lipo alarm was squawking on and off most of the flight. piros before the 1st pause. Then hovering_throttle pumping and hovering. The alarm shut up on landing. This pack is headed for the trash, just wanted to plot it first.

Belt drive corona with Astro 020
Polytronics Prolite V2 2100 mAH 3s about 15 cycles
winds 9/9 mph
45F

Some throttle pumping then a pause while I picked it up after being blown into the house. Rest of the flight was just some FF and piros with some mild throttle pops in the middle. The new belt started skipping. terminated at 9 mins by TX alarm.

Interesting in that hard throttle pops pulled the voltage down below 9V. this pack still owes me money so I'll have to watch it.
