Hey guys!
OK,I narrowed my first heli to either a HB MKIII(FP),and the HB CP2.They said that a CP heli isnt a good beginner heli, why is that?more parts broken? Is it more dificult to fly? Thanks!

wcairsoft3r, Welcome to Helitown. Different people will give you different answers depending on their experience. But in general, here is the order of easy to difficult heli- coaxial, FP and CP. Some people start with a coaxial, some start with a FP and some start with CP. I personally started with a Blade CP and went back to Esky Honeybee FP. A CP is more twitchy than a FP. I think it is because a CP usually flies with higher headspeed but I could be wrong. I am not familar with HB MKIII but if you want a durable FP, I would recommend an Esky HB FP and HB CP2 is good choise if you want a micro CP. my two cents.

Oh that is what I had - Honeybee FP. It is very durable. Either one of them is good. If you want to go with the CP2, it is OK too - Just put more efforts to it. I would strongly recommend a training gear and SIM regardless which one you get. You can buy a FP now and hope to win the CP2 from HeliTown when the raffle is drawn. Just stick around and get 38 more posts :)

Hi wcairsoft3r,
FMS is OK for now to learn the control and orientation if you don't want to spend money for it. You can check for Clear View for $30 and you can go even with more expensive ($200 or more) SIM like Reflex or G3. For FMS or Clear View, you can use your Transmitter that comes with the HB either FP or CP, but you need to have the interface cable. Please check here http://www.helitown.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=37&sid=e35d39415934ae1c029f862d80ca7dd6 for more infor on SIM and the interface cable. Check the Version 16 of the Electric Helicopter Beginner's Guide (EHBG) here http://www.helitown.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=95 for terminology - go to the glossary at the end of the book. Don't forget to check this section also for RC helicopter pilot resources. http://www.helitown.com/forum/index.php?c=7
You can be overwhemed with the information so take your time, don't rush and feel free to ask if you cannot find the info you are looking for.
And yes - the training gear will save you a lot of money from destroying the blades.

You are welcome. Yes Blade CP is very similair to HB CP2. Most concepts about flying Blade CP can apply to HB CP2. There a LOT of terms. Here is the direct link http://www.swashplate.co.uk/ehbg-v17/ehbg_index.html go to the last item on the Table of Content - Chapter 31. You'll find the glossary there.
