A great pic from one of our newer members "Woody" .
The pic shows her 3 most treasured possessions, her Swift and 2 Burmese cats. 8)

What is it with all these 'pink' items / upgrades on ladies helicopters !! Do i see a bag of parts from century that the cat is about to fit ?

I do like the white skid set, I have the stock black ones, do you notice any spool up wobble with them ?

I run the stock 'KIT' motor however it needs a little more 'punch', I have a Ikarus H8 motor in stock so I plan to fit and try this weekend however I would also like to 'test' my new Raptor 50 .......

Just a little bit of pink...not too much though!

No wobbles.....

Yes, you can see some spare parts in the picture....Its easy to get carried away with on line shopping...I had to buy some new tail blades this week (because I accidently kicked it not cos I crashed :-) ) and ended up buying a new motor  amongst other things as well.

Wow I think I may have found a new market! I wonder how hard it'd be to put the guts from a 14MZ in one of these?

Swift had problem with its head block when it was first released between November 1st, 2005 through February 15th, 2006. That head block during spool up and spool down caused the helicopter a violent shake or vibration. Then, Century issued an anoucemnts for replacement parts and I think they fixed it. If you purchased your Swift after February 15th, 2006, my LHS guy said the kit would come with revised head block and there shouldn't be wobles as when it was with the old head block. Woody, welcome to HeliTown and thanks for sharing your picture with us.

Hey don't blame me! I'm just a rascal, and can't help it.

Steve, the guy voted to most likely to hear " dude I don't know if it's meds you are taking or meds you should be taking" daily.

Woody,
Did you pain the canopy? The stock one doens't look that smooth. Did you make that landing gear? It looks different from stock too :).

Thanh, any couragement on one of these (I know you are biased toward Swift :) as you said you are not gonna buy Trex600 but I want to hear your thoughts on Swift) - I am trying to make one difficult decision between Swift and TRex600 - the issue with Trex600 is my backyard or frontyard space and I don't want to join a club.

I like the Swift because
+ it looks different from the main stream
+ parts are not expensive
+ stable (I did my first hover inverted without crashing from this Swift, couldn't do that with Trex 450 since it was not as stable)
+ It didn't need lots of power to fly.
It's not as big as a Trex 600, but larger than Trex 450 and can carry my camera with no problem :D
