Hi folks,
For those who just bought Esky Honeybee CP2 recently, can you check to see what did you get with the included battery charger? I only got the charger, the battery and the V cliper adapter as shown in the picture. Did you get a wall adapter? How do you plug the charger to the wall outlet? I think my wall adapter is missing? Can anyone confirm for me before I try to e-mail ESKY HOBBY in Chinda to see how they respond to me for the review?

Eddie, in the Uk you get the same as you have, you can only charge from you car or a 12v PSU if you have one, I don't think they have short changed you !

One of our members e-mailed Esky Hobby to see what they say. I will do too just to test how responsive Esky Hobby for my review. This would be included in the review and I hope Esky Hobby responds positively about lacking the wall adaptor. Thanks for confirming that for me.
Thanks :)

eddie,

I have that exact charger, and it came just like yours.
It' setup for a 12 volt DC power supply only.
It doesn't come with an AC/DC wall transformer.
It didn't bother me, as I do have a couple of 12 volt power supplies, but I can see how it would be really inconvenient as part of an RTR package.
You would think they would include a wall charger with the kit.

I purchased mine from rc-expert.com they added they're own charger and 2 of their batteries and removed the stock charger and stock battery i was kinda pissed about it, but at least i could charge mine with 120v. Check underneath the styrofoam my lama v3 came with the same balancing charger and battery, but the 120v adapter was in a box taped to the underside of the styrofoam box. Hope this helps some.

wcairsoft3r wrote ESKY HOBBY and they confirmed that the wall adaptor is not included. I am not sure why they decided to do it that way. I bought an Esky Honeybee FP. It came with a wall adaptor and that is why I am wondering. For some of us we have other Li Po charger, so it is not a problem. But for a newbie, this is kind of inconvinient that he/she has to charge with his car battery all the time or have to run and buy a wall adaptor. Like you said MAXXED it is listed as RTF package.

It is RTF as long as you own a car  . A 1A 12v wall wart is a pretty costly chunk and I'd hate to have to buy it if I didn't need it, or get a .25 A charger and a wall wart to do 4 hour charges :( . It seems like a decent compromise to me cost over nicety. I'd be complaining that they could have probably put a little more wire on it though.

I got a response back from ESKY HOBBY. They seem to response their e-mail within 24 hours and I am glad that they now include the wall adaptor with the new type.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Sorry to bring so many confusion to you.

Now we have new type Honeybee cp2 with adaptor in stock. Esky HB CP2 is old one.

Best Regards

Jessica
