Possible HeliTown Fun Fly ????

Hello Folks, last time when I went to Virginia, Steve was trying to come to Springfield to show off some of his Corona helicopters and now I just talked with Thanh Tran who lives in Maryland about flying together there some time next year.

I am planning to go to Virginia again for my nephew's graduatoin next year. There is no date yet but it seems like fun if we all HeliTown folks (who can make it) can meet for one day to have fun flying helicopters together somewhere in East Coast next year. So, if you have any ideas or suggestions, let's hear it.

Sounds good to me too. It would be fun to meet you guys and fly our copters. Which part of VA are you in Steve? I'm in Germantown, about 20 mins from the belt way :)

Norfolk. I'm self employed so I have a fairly flexible schedule unless there is something big going on, which is about 2-3 times a year. Springfield is SW of DC and you are NW since you have a place to fly up there might be best just for me to swing by and pick up Eddie and head up your way. It'd save all the hassle of trying to figure out where we could go. ??? unless others join in or something. Just a thought.

We still have some time to think about it and let's keep the idea alive. Folks from UK, Australia and other areas may want to join us I'll check with my nephew as soon as he knows the date, I'll let you guys know. It sounds like fun already!

Wow Steve, Norfolk is pretty far I would say. I know a local abandon park (don't see people going there, I see only kid driving ATV there) where I go flying often. There is also a school yard closer to Springfield is south. I was flying there in the weekends with 2 people I just knew recently. Maybe we can meet there if the yard is still available. We can team up with them as well.

Would be fun :)
