Well, this event was more than one month old, but it was my first time really flying with someone else in the East coast. It was fun. I got to drive about 40 mins but it worths the time. It was also my first time seeing the Trex 600 in real life. Wow it's huge. But its Trexy looking really drive me back from getting one. I already had 2 Trex, I don't want another Trex-like looking machine ;)

Any way here are some pictures:

It may look like one but it is so nice to fly who cares and remember once high in the sky they all look like pod and boom

I like the 600, Ok I get longer flying times out of my nitro 50's as I only have two batts for it but see if you can have a fly of one !! 8)

Hi Thanh - As always I like to look at your pictures they are always clear and focused. What do you have in mind for your next heli? I am watching Trex 600 right now as I don't have a Trex except the MX400/Trex450 hybrid one. I am checking the info and Martin and Steve have given great info. Now, I am hesitant as I don't have much time finding a big space to fly it. However, every time I look at it, I am always tempted! I like mini size helis for now, as I don't have to drive to find a space to fly. So among those helicopters you have which one you like and fly the most? Didn't you have a Shogun before? How come it is not there with others? Now my eyes are also on the new Thunder Tiger - mini Titan E325 and the new Trex500 coming up soon.

Funny you put it that way. Yeah these machines sure look ugly with sticks and blades. It looks nice when it flies though.

I may try to have a feeling of the Trex 600 next time I'm at the field. Let's hope the owner allow me to. Last time I had a crash, my swift was inverted over my head, and I lost direction. He had to run away from me and my heli (which was crashing down his head). It hit the ground right next to his Trex 600 and his 14Mz. I'm sure I & he would be breathless if it broke his radio.

Thanks very much for the compliments :) I enjoy taking pictures, but I'm lazy to post process pictures and post them sometimes.

I still have the Shogun, but I robbed 2 of its HS56 servos and motor :D. The shogun flies nicely, but it's expensive to crash. The shaft alone costs $9 bucks, so I don't fly it often. Besides it's pretty bang'ed up after a year of my crashing and beating. I may convert it to a scale body sometimes.

I've been looking at the Thunder Tiger E620SE. It looks good and big. But my tiny condo would have hard time having another one. I can fly my Swift at the parking lot at work with no problem, so it shouldn't be needing lots of space. It does feel a bit scare when that big thing spin its big blades right next to you though. My mother-in-law actually likes the big heli. She said the small one (Trex) is hard to see :D.

I may try to fix my friends 10 year old Concept .60 heli soon. I want to feel how Nitro flies :). That heli is very old. It has a mechanical gyro. If I crash, there would be no parts to replace, hehe.

I agree with your mother-in-law. Go big and fly like a real pilot to make her proud.
