If you aren't of the Christmas observing type seasons greetings, and Happy Holidays!
I'd like to say that my wife has made me very proud this year (not only for putting up with me). At the hospital she works in she suggested that instead of buying cheap crap no body wants, why not do something nice for someone nice. There's a nice lady there who is highly thought of, and living a fairly rough life. It seems for a couple years she has wanted a sewing machine. She often talked about what a nice hobby it would be. The ability to make pajamas for the kids and just the fun of actually having a hobby. Lisa got it all organized so everyone chipped in and pooled the money to buy a sewing machine. The other day I was kinda bemused by a sewing machine arriving at my door. (Lisa sews and I was bemused by the idea her machine had broken and I didn't know) She told me the story. A few days later at the pot luck lunch everybody had the best experience they'd ever had at a office Christmas party.
It came pretty close to knockin some of the Bah Humbug out of me.

Hi Steve - I know, sometimes we make jokes and we say this and that about our other half, but yes the wife is the one who is stuck with us each day regarding she wants it or not. When you need the most help, she will be around on your side and support you. So, I guess we all need to appreciate our lady. Chinda too - thought I make jokes here and there just for fun, she always wants me to get the best. So me too, I like to thank Chinda for being a good and understanding wife (Sh.......there are Hurricane 550, Mini Titan E325, Trex500, etc on the way) and I have to be nice to her :).
I am glad that Lisa got her sewing machine. Ask her if she can embroil HeliTown logo on your pajamas :)

Nah Eddie, Lisa (Mrs. Watson) has had a sewing machine since she 1st asked for one. I'd guess about 20yrs ago. She wanted a cheapy and I said go get a goodun. No point in buying twice. She says it surges so I'm pretty careful around it in case it surges my direction. I tell her if it surges we can go have it fixed and she roles her eyes and looks at me as if I grew a third eye. ( I don't get this whole woman thing, and not for lack of trying! A few mixes wrong in the primary setup I think)
I don't think it embroideries (perhaps that causes surging? :? ) But she can do some wicked needle point, crochet, etc on her own.
Lisa arranged the sewing machine for a co worker. The co worker was reduced to tears, and everyone was happy. It was said as if that was indeed a good thing. I have to believe Mrs. Watson as she has no real sense of humor only me.

When a woman roles her eyes and looks at you as if you grew a third eye, means that she doesn't like what she sees or hear. OH OH.....

We are women want to be appreciated and recognized. We will do whatever it take get that, especially from our loves one. We are so simple. That is my opinion.
