The more I am involved in comparing helicopter parts, the more I feel I need a digital micro scale. After searching the net for awhile I decided to buy a digital micro scale and upgraded to 550g with free calibration weight for $24.97. Not sure how good is this but one way to find out is to use it.

Does anybody else use a digital micro scale?

We have a digital micro scale originally bought so martin could weigh letters but it has proved invaluable, I think ours was about £24

I have one that goes to 10 lbs, and reads to the nearest 5g. I also use one from my cartridge reloading set for blade balancing. It only goes to 38g but is accurate to 0.0065g and does a fine job of balancing even tail feathers Down side is it needs still air, and to be plugged in and let stbilize for about 15 mins.
I am thinking about picking up one of these http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=93543 and see if it's worth anything.

That is a nice pocket size scale. For $9.99, it is not bad. I always feel like I want to weigh stuff, especially for upgrade parts. I read some people using scale to fine tune their helicopters. For example, flybar paddles are not always have the same weight and people use tapes to balance them after weighing. For micro and mini, little weight can make a difference. So, I'll see if it is worth it.
