Walkera Dragonfly 36

I charged a battery for my Walkera Dragonnfly 36 as I gave it the leftt stick throttle at halfway the blades were turning fast as I gave it full throttle the blades slowed down is this because the battery wasn';t full charged also as I gave it the right stick it went left? I thaught if I would give it lthe stick on the right and go right the heli would go left but instead went let?
I have a new charger Multipllex Multi charger LN-5014
This is new to me.
