G-MRM,
I heard that there is a recall on some of the Trex600. Is your heli affected?

Yes it was.... I had one of the first batch in the Uk and so far I have been sent two packs of new main blade grips and mixing leavers. I have covered this on my build web site but just to show all in case.......

You can see the extra plastic, but also they have changed material !

If you're still flying with the ones on the right, contact your local shop !!

My poor 600 :( :( :(

But we can add some upgrades :D :D :D

Two teeth were missing from the mail gear. Align have upgraded to helical cut gears so they were ordered with a new motor pinion.

Ball links were broken on the mixing arms and main blade grips. I already has stock of blade grips so they stayed as plastic !

I upgraded the mixing arms and seasaw to metal. The seasaw was Ok but this upgrade for what it cost went towards the all metal head that I will have one day. Below you can see the plastic and metal parts togther.

The other change was a downgrade...... I was flying with carbon blades but maybe I am not ready for them yet !! I had fitted Glass Fibre ones that RipMax sell. They are good for all the flying I will be doing !

This was my second 50 size crash, the other one was with my Sceadu 50. both running carbon blades ! GF keeps the repair bills lower !

Sure would look good with metal blade holders ....................
