3K Frames

I'm looking at getting a new frame for my Trex. The Trex Frames listed with a part # that has 3K, are these ok for the XL CDE CCPM. Thanks

It looks like any parts with the 3K designation is designed for the X/XL/SE it also looks like these are either Carbon Fiber or CF Printed" looks like" CF parts , the 3K designation refers to desired Headspeed!....Sleepster... 8)

Thanks sleepstalker, I've been looking on the net and noticed there are alot of 3K parts. That fake carbon fiber look already got me once but never again will I spend the extra $ for plastic part with a CF sticker on it. IMO Real thing or nothing.

Not sure which 3K frame you saw, but I had one of these:

and it's not 3k. It's real CF, but thinner than CF of other CF frames

If the frame you are talking about is the Align 3K frame it is a printed CF pattern. the frame is OK, but will crack in a hard landing.
