Product Review: Xtreme titanium turnbuckle pitch links for 450 size heli's

I just got two sets of Xtreme Productions' titanium turnbuckle Pitch  adjusting links for my 450 helicopters. They work great on the King II, no less so on the Trex 450. Dialing in blade Pitch  on the bench is a snap and final adjustment in the field is as simple as it gets. No more unsnapping head links to adjust main blade Pitch . Just insert a paperclip or the provided wire into the hole in the turnbuckle and nudge it into perfect blade tracking.

Today I noticed that one of my main blades had a fracture at the tip. Even though it was flying well I decided to replace the blades. The new set was slightly different, resulting in a tracking error. Two tweaks on the turnbuckle and short test hovers gave me perfect tracking in very little time. These things are worth the eight bucks!

it certainly sounds like it. I wonder if they have a set for larger helis. My 450 would be nice to have some nice links, but I don't want to put money into until I build a new one(the one I have is still an XL)

The turnbuckles really make tracking so much easier... I only use them on one side and leave the other original

but don't use the included plastic ball links and screw on your own ones instead. they're too soft and have been known to pop off in flight

this is a must!! i used the provided links for a while, it was great! tracking was razor sharp, luckily i noticed at the beginning of one flight the tracking had gone way out, i stopped flying, and when i checked it all out properly at home the link had popped right out of the plastic, i could push it in and out easily without having to twist it.

i had a bit of trouble getting it into the align plastic links at first as they are designed to accept a smaller thread, but i found a small wiggle with a 2mm drill bit opened it up just enough to thread it in securely,

feels good.. for now!

Interesting tip. I'll give it a shot on one of my birds.

I'm going to get these in the spring...they'd work on the Belt CP  too right?
